Although the situation is beginning to look more promising, with reduced tariffs between the USA and China, the underlying issues of the ongoing trade war remain. As a result of products and materials leaving China without proper labeling, there has been a dramatic increase in inspections for the export of magnetic goods over the past week. This has, in turn, led to a complete halt in certain overloaded export ports.

This development is concerning, and our hope is that the situation will become clearer in the coming weeks. Nevertheless, the fact remains that this could lead to an unwanted shortage of magnetic materials and components for manufacturers outside China.
