In the food and processing industries, magnetic filter bars and separators are used to ensure that unwanted metallic particles do not end up in our raw materials — and ultimately, in our bodies. But did you know that magnets are also used in kitchen environments, both in homes and in larger commercial kitchens?

One example is HYAB’s magnetic knife holder, an effective way to store kitchen knives safely while keeping them easily accessible. Our range includes practical stainless steel models that are especially well-suited for commercial kitchens, as well as stylish versions with wooden casing and marble accents that look great in home kitchens.

In Bromma, we also manufacture our own cutlery picker — larger industrial tools designed to streamline dishwashing and sorting processes in large-scale kitchens. These are designed as conveyor systems with magnetic collection functions that easily lift and transport cutlery from, for example, serving trays to a designated collection area, where the cutlery is demagnetized and released.
