Quality Assurance of Magnets

Magnets are important components for many of the applications in which they are used. Very often, they are also subject to incredibly strict and detailed specifications in order for their application to function as intended. This may involve conditions, such as temperature resistance, that the magnet must be able to withstand, as well as physical specifications and dimensions.

Magnetic components are often produced according to detailed drawings, specified down to the millimeter. HYAB Magneter always quality assures deliveries from our suppliers. In the case of smaller series, the delivery is usually checked in its entirety. For larger volumes, we take random samples and ensure the specifications that we consider most reasonable for that particular component. This may involve checking the surface treatment, measuring the strength of the magnet and magnetic field, measuring its dimensions and checking tolerances, or testing its heat resistance.

Offering high-quality magnets is our hallmark, and being able to stand behind the magnets we deliver is all the more important.

For customers who request it, we also offer complete quality assurance of their deliveries as an additional service, especially when there are strict dimensional requirements. We have trained staff and high-quality equipment to both test and document quality assurance – something that is appreciated by our customers.
