Case study: HYAB’s cutlery pickers and IKEA

At HYAB Magneter, we have been manufacturing and selling our own cutlery pickers for a long time, as we mentioned in an article before the summer. Our cutlery pickers are ideal for streamlining dishwashing and sorting processes in commercial kitchens, and have long been appreciated by our customers.
IKEA, one of the world's largest furniture companies and perhaps Sweden's most well-known company, also stands out for the food it serves in its stores. There, they serve affordable Swedish classics such as meatballs with lingonberry jam and mashed potatoes, as well as pancakes with jam and cream. For many years, they have also been using HYAB's cutlery pickers in many of their restaurant kitchens around Sweden – something we are very proud of.
Our cutlery pickers facilitate the handling of the large amount of cutlery that circulates in their kitchens by moving cutlery from serving trays to dishwashers, for example. The pickers also have a built-in demagnetization function that ensures that the cutlery does not remain magnetic when it is used again by IKEA visitors.
