CAUSION! STRONG MAGNET! CRUSH HAZARD!
It is important that the separator is handled and assembled correctly in order to function optimally. Please follow our mounting instructions for correct rotation and attachment.
1. CORRECT ROTATION OF THE PLATE SEPARATOR
To know the correct mounting rotation, you simply need to look at the measurement specification of the separator.
The height must be axially vertical. We always specify the height of the separator as the first measurement in the article title.
(Product as an example in the illustration below is PD490).
2. DO NOT OVER-TORQUE THE SCREW
Over tightening the screw past the steel plate and into the bottom of the thread may break the magnet inside the separator.
This depends on the separator model and how the magnets are placed inside, but we recommend never turning the bolt/screw too hard when reaching the bottom of the thread.
The thread dept (thickness of steel plate) is most often 10mm.
The steel sheet separators task is to separate sheets of metal, so you easily can avoid tangle and manage your sheets without problems.
See specified plate thickness recommendation to chose the right sheet separator for you.
