Permanent magnet
Choosing the right magnet material is a decisive factor when using a magnet or a magnet system. This is because it will greatly affect the performance and function of the final product. We stock magnets in 4 different materials - Neodymium (NdFeB), Ferrite, Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) and Alnico (AlNiCo). Below you can see a table showing advantages and disadvantages for all materials. Our most popular material is Neodymium, followed by Ferrite.
