Cylindrical Holding Magnets 12V & 24V DC
Hyab supplies cylindrical electromagnets designed for lifting, holding, fixing and positioning applications in industrial and automation environments. These electric holding magnets are available in 12V DC and 24V DC versions and provide reliable, controlled magnetic force when energized.
A cylinder electromagnet is ideal when a compact, round magnet design is required. The cylindrical housing makes them especially suitable for mounting in drilled holes, fixtures and integrated mechanical assemblies.
Our standard range is primarily designed for 24V DC and 100% duty cycle (continuous operation).
Holding Force and Safety
Specified holding force values apply under ideal conditions and without safety factor.
1 kg ≈ 10 Newton.
Please note that the electromagnet will release at the stated holding force under optimal conditions. Always apply an appropriate safety margin in your design.
Duty Cycle (ED Rating)
The ED rating indicates the percentage of energized time within a duty cycle.
If the magnet operates at a lower duty cycle, a higher voltage can be applied to increase holding force. Conversely, lower voltage results in reduced magnetic force.
