The magnetic strips are made from a mixture of ferrite powder and synthetic rubber or plastic.
Anisotropic axial
With axial magnetization the magnetic field becomes longer and is often used for sensors, in e.g. elevators.
The downside is that the field is not as strong as a magnetized multipole.
Please also note that magnets should not be placed on our plastic-bound products. If you do this, the plastic-bound product will be demagnetized.
Plastic-bound on plastic-bound is okay.
