A powerful holding magnet that works great for magnet fishing. Tie a rope / string through the eyelet, throw in the water and hope for metallic bite. Since it is a neodymium magnet (super magnet) in this article, it is important that the magnet is wiped off after use, so it stays free of rust for as long as possible! Note that the specified strength is calculated in optimal conditions on a 10mm thick iron plate and will be lower if you do not get an optimal hit under the water surface.
The stated forces have been determined at room temperature on a plate in polished steel (S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm (1kg ~ 10N). A maximum deviation of -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. Value is exceeded in general. Depending on the type of application (installation situation, temperatures, counter anchor etc.) the forces can be influenced enormously. The indicated values are serving as an orientation.
