The stated forces have been determined at room temperature on a plate in polished steel (S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm (1kg ~ 10N). A maximum deviation of -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. Value is exceeded in general. Depending on the type of application (installation situation, temperatures, counter anchor etc.) the forces can be influenced enormously. The indicated values are serving as an orientation.
Tolerance:
ØD: This article has a outer diameter with h6 tolerance. Following ISO 286-2.
T [mm]: +/- 0.2
A¹ :
Max. length by which the bar magnet can be shortened or machined without being damaged.
The brass body's function:
Since brass doesnt lead magnetism, we can with help of a magnetic method, make this product stronger. Up to 100% stronger than a regular designed holding magnet matter in fact.
All our holding magnets with a brass body uses this construction of magnets.
One disadvantage, however, is that the magnetic field can ”leak”. This means that if this article is to be pushed in to a tight tolerance with magnetically conductive iron hugging it, the holding magnet will lose up to 15% of the force because of magnetic field -leakage onto that iron.
